The Art of Food – Charity In Palm Springs French Restaurant Le Vallauris

Le Vallauris owner Paul Bruggemans and artist Yvonne Maloney are teaming up for charity. Paul and Yvonne decided to combine the art of painting and food this year at his renowned Palm Springs California Restaurant. Yvonne’s paintings are on exhibit at Le Vallauris, with proceeds of any acquisitions from the exhibit going to the charity of their respective choices. As always 100% of sales by the artist have been donated since she began painting professionally in 2000. Paul Bruggemans and his fine staff are dedicated supporters of numerous Coachella Valley organizations.

Influenced by the historical architecture and traditions of my birthplace, Malta, an island situated in the Mediterranean Sea, my paintings follow the European tradition in the vein of Matisse and Modigliani, with a contemporary element. A proponent of abundant color, my large-scale acrylics on canvas probe the surface of relaxation and serenity.  Portraiture of elegant women and beautiful flowers are the subjects of most of my paintings. They form compositions that are visually captivating and emotionally uplifting. My creative process is a simple cycle of living, painting and giving, as all proceeds of my art go to charity. The aspect of giving is most important to me, and is the prime inspiration for the work. Yvonne Maloney currently lives and works in Rancho Santa Fe and Palm Springs, California.

For information about the works or acquisition please contact Stephen Zapantis at Art by Maloney, LL 858-756-4088
